Well, you have found your way here, so I am guessing that you want to know a little bit about the lady who created Our Blessed Home and DelanieRose's Sprinkles. Well, sit back and relax and have fun meeting me, Eryn, the one and only DelanieRose! LOL
So what would you like to know? Perhaps...
Why the name DelanieRose? You know, I get this question quite a lot, just where in the heck did I get 'delanierose' from a name like Eryn? Well, when I found out that I was pregnant with our third child, we were having a terrible time coming up with names. We just couldn't find anything that fit. *sigh* When we found out that she was going to be a girl, I was so excited! My favorite actress of all times is Dana Delaney. I always thought she was just so beautiful! Well, I liked the name spelled 'Delanie'. And then thought that 'Rose' would be a beautiful middle name to go with it. Well, alas, my husband vetoed the name (said it had too many syllables and would not be easy to say if I got mad at her (hey, at least we thought about that LMBO). So we finally agreed on Rachel Bree for her name. But I just could not get Delanie Rose out of my head. I decided that I would 'become' DelanieRose (without a space in between the names) and thus, here I am, 5 years later, as DelanieRose. *S* I can't imagine any other name for me online now! :) So there you have it, one of the *great* mysteries in my life, why DelanieRose. ROTFLOL
Ok, ok, So you want to know about *me*, not just babblings. Oh golly, what else???
WHO IS DelanieRose???
Well, I am 29 years old (and holding from now on!), love my husband with my whole heart and soul, and am a stay at home mom with 4 beautiful children! :) I love making webpages, background sets and fun stuff like that! I love to sing and dance (with the kids, I am bashful as can be around 'real people' (not that my children aren't real people, they just *know* that their momma is a goofball! LOL)). When around others, I barely talk over a whisper, until I get comfortable around you. Then you better watch out, I can talk with the best of them! LOL That is why I love the internet, it is easier to get my thoughts out there! *S* I have also found a new love, pencil drawing. One of these days I will get some of my drawings up for you to see! ***Someday*** ;)
I love all kinds of music although Christmas music is my all time favorite. Then Christian music, country music, and 80s all come in right after that! I can't pick just one song that is my favorite, there are just too many to pick from!!! No matter how upset or stressed out I am, music always makes me feel better! Within minutes! Never fails. :)
What else? Hmm, my favorite flower is carnations, second favorite is the rose (yellow ones w/ pink tips, there are several varieties that come to mind. LOL)
I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, and I thank God for that blessing everyday! And my favorite Bible verse is 'I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me!' Philippians 4:13. Wow, not just a few, but ***ALL***!!! I love that! *S*
I also enjoy mythical type things, like fairies, unicorns, and other pretty stuff! They are truly mythical and I do not see them as real, they simply make pretty pictures and cool stories. Some people think that you can't be a Christian AND enjoy stuff like that! I don't see a thing wrong with that. :) Yes, Christian's have fun too, believe it or not! ;) Hmm, better move on to the next thing or we might have to find a soapbox for Delanie to stand on! LMBO
